SENIOR CONVOCATION PROGRAM

Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 3:30 PM at Milford High School. Milford High School will recognize our students who have a GPA of 4.50 (summa cum laude) or higher in the Class of 2024.  Award Recipients will receive an invitation.  If you receive an invitation, please plan to be in attendance. 

SENIOR AWARDS PROGRAM

Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Milford High School.  Award Recipients will receive an invitation.  If you receive an invitation, please plan to be in attendance.  If you are not present, the award or scholarship may be given to the next most qualified applicant.  Contact Ms. Capuson (Room #B28) if you cannot attend due to emergency situations.  

LOCKER CLEAN-OUT 

Seniors with lockers will clean them out on Friday, May 10th during homeroom.   Please remove all personal articles from lockers.  Fees will be assessed if locker is damaged.  An announcement will be made during homeroom for those seniors with lockers to clean them out.

FEES AND OBLIGATIONS

All fees and financial obligations MUST be cleared by Friday, May 10, 2024.  This includes the return of library books and equipment that are the property of the school.  Textbooks are to be turned in by this date also.  School fees must be paid to Mrs. Kelly McAfee in the main office. Fees can also be paid online thru Payschools.  NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER May 3, 2024.  Final transcripts, DIPLOMAS and school records will be held until ALL fees and obligations are cleared (including textbooks). NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!! SENIORS WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE GRADUATION CEREMONY IF OBLIGATIONS ARE NOT CLEARED.

BIKE RIDE/FIELD DAY/PIZZA PARTY

All seniors are invited to ride their bikes to school the morning of Thursday, May 16th.  Seniors will report to their first period classes for attendance and then be called down to a meeting in the auditorium at 7:45AM.  Field Day will start immediately after the meeting.  A pizza party will begin at approximately 10:30A.M.  Senior Vocational students are invited to attend, but students must have prior approval from vocational campus and find own transportation to Milford High School.

SENIOR EXAMS AT MILFORD HIGH SCHOOL

There will be no formal exams at Milford High School, however, students currently enrolled in AP classes are expected to take the official AP EXAM administered by The College Board at the designated times.

The AP Exam schedule is determined by The College Board and those dates can be found on The College Board website. This information will also be shared with students through their AP classes.  All AP Exams will be administered in person at Milford High School.

NOTE:  There may be a change in dates if we have snow days or calamity days to make up.

LAST SCHOOL DAY FOR SENIORS AT MILFORD HIGH SCHOOL

Last school day for seniors is Thursday, May 16th unless we have snow days or calamity days to make-up.

COMMENCEMENT REHEARSAL

Attendance is required and mandatory!!  Rehearsal will be at Milford High School, on Friday, May 17, 2024 beginning at 7:15 AM.  You will report to the cafeteria for breakfast and then report to the big gym to pick up your cap and gown and for rehearsal. There will be a complete run-through of the graduation ceremony.  Practice should be over around 10:30 AM.  You must wear your cap and gown at rehearsal. 

YOU MUST ATTEND THE PRACTICE IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GRADUATION CEREMONY.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!  Check with employers so you DO NOT have to work.  Phone calls will be made to those not in attendance.  

CAP AND GOWN DISTRIBUTION

Caps and gowns will be distributed in the big gym on Friday, May 17, 2024 before rehearsal.  

ELEMENTARY WALKTHROUGH

Directly after commencement rehearsal (likely around 11:00-11:30am). Please email Ms.Dietrich for details (Dietrich_k@milfordschools.org)

GRADUATION CEREMONY

Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Xavier University - Cintas Center, 1624 Herald Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45207, at 3:00 PM.  Report to the preparation area by 2:15PM.  DON'T FORGET YOUR CAP AND GOWN!!! Please tell your parents NOT to be at Cintas Center before 1:30 PM because there will be another graduation taking place.
