SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION: Local Scholarships are scholarships that are available exclusively to Milford and Live Oaks students. Applications are due by 3pm on Thursday, December 17th. This is a firm deadline, and late applications will not be considered.
Applications for EACH scholarship must be submitted through the Local Scholarship Application Form as PDF packets. This form is restricted to Milford students only, so please ensure you are accessing the form through your Milford school account, and not through a personal email.

SUBMITTING A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION: Only submit letters of recommendation for the scholarships that specifically request one. If this is a requirement, it will be made clear in the criteria section of each scholarship page. If you have a copy of your letter, you should include it directly in your PDF submission. If your teacher, coach, etc, would rather submit your recommendation letter privately, please provide them with the Letter of Recommendation Form to do so.

Information About Senior Award's Night
Invitations for nominated students will be mailed in early April. Scholarship recipients will be awarded at the Spring Senior Awards Night, which is scheduled for Wednesday, April 21st, 2027 at 7:00 PM in the High School Auditorium.
Awards night is by invitation only and RSVP is REQUIRED to Mrs.Miller.
You must be present [at the ceremony] to accept any local scholarship.
Invitation is by mail only. Please begin checking mailboxes the first week in April.
If a student fails to RSVP, they will be contacted directly for confirmation of attendance. Please do NOT contact Mrs.Miller to inquire if you have been invited: She will contact you if you have been selected and have not issued a formal RSVP by the deadline.
If you are not selected: please be mindful that Mrs.Miller, Mr.Baker, and the MHS Administration are unaffiliated with the selection process. These individuals will not be able to offer insight & feedback regarding the selection process to you. We have so many deserving, high-achieving students, and we look forward to celebrating the success of all seniors at the commencement ceremony in May!
PLEASE NOTE: This is for scholarships, community service, and subject area excellence only. GPA is honored through the wearing of chords at graduation, and will NOT be addressed at this Awards Night!
