SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION: Local Scholarships are scholarships that are available exclusively to Milford and Live Oaks students. Applications are due by 3pm on Wednesday, December 17th. Applications for EACH scholarship must be submitted through the Local Scholarship Application Form as PDF packets. This form is restricted to Milford students only, so please ensure you are accessing the form through your Milford account.

SUBMITTING A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION: Only submit letters of recommendation for the scholarships that request one. If this is a requirement, it will be made clear in the criteria section of each scholarship page. If you have a copy of your letter, you can include it directly in your PDF submission above. If your teacher, coach, etc. would rather submit your recommendation letter themselves, they can use the Letter of Recommendation Form to do so.

Information About Award's Night
Invites for recipients will be mailed in early April. Recipients will be awarded at the Spring Senior Awards Night, which is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026 at 7:00 PM in the High School Auditorium.
Academic and Local Scholarship Awards night is by invite only and RSVPs are REQUIRED.
You must be present to accept any local scholarship.
Invitation by mail only. Please begin checking mailboxes the first week in April.
If a student fails to RSVP they will be contacted directly for confirmation of attendance.
If your child is not selected: please be mindful that Mrs.Miller, Ms.Dietrich, and the MHS Administration are unaffiliated with the selection process. There will be no need to voice concerns to these parties, as they will not be able to offer insight & feedback regarding the selection process to you. We have so many incredible, deserving, high-achieving students, and we look forward to celebrating the success of all students at the commencement ceremony in May!
PLEASE NOTE: This is for scholarships, community service, and subject area excellence only. GPA is honored through the wearing of chords at graduation, and will NOT be addressed at this Awards Night!
